I like playing with different graphic techniques. Some of what appears on here is done for work, and others, just whatever pops out of my head and lands on the screen. I don't imagine myself a fine artist by any means, but I do try to have fun with my work!

I will happily trade llamas for llamas.

I'm a fan of Steampunk and Dieselpunk, both as visual and musical aesthetics.

New angle, lowered the intensity of the spotlight, changed up the pose a bit.

I freely admit that, after a certain point, I have no idea what I'm doing, hahaha.

More playing around with DAZ Studio.  Honestly, I didn't (consciously) plan for her to come out looking a bit like Karen Gillan.

So I just came into possession of Manga Studio 4 EX and played around with it a bit.  The difference is noticeable from programs like Inkscape or GIMP.  Undeniably, MS conveys the feel of drawing on paper.

So as with when I first got my Wacom, I broke in the new program by doing a portrait of the Doctor.  OK, so Marvel won't be knocking down my door anytime soon, but with time and practice, I think I've finally found the right tool for the job.

I do have to watch that pressure sensitivity though.  Or maybe I can tweak it.

Another work-related piece, this one for the children's program and storytimes that revolved around a certain theme.  Can you guess? ;)

I couldn't resist adding the Captain Marvel t-shirt.

Whatever she has on her mind, it ain't good!

I was playing around with my now-massive collection of DAZ Studio freebies and pieced her together from the standard Genesis figure.  I can thank Wilmap at Wilmap's Digital Creations for the shirt, the hair from sedartonfokcaj.deviantart.com/, and the gloves (made for Michael 4 but fitted) from Joequick's Golden Age collection, found here: www.sharecg.com/v/73674/galler…

This was a fun piece to work on, playing mix-and-match along with learning about casting shadows in Studio.
